Attempting to Make Up For the Morning

I crawled out of bed at 4PM to discover the balcony was dry! After finishing up my morning activities I used the last bit of sunlight to sit outside and sand the two remaining shelves.

I'm going to ask my roommate if I can paint the shelves indoors... I was advised that the paint wouldn't dry correctly in temperatures under 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It being January, the temperature outside rarely peaks above 50.
